Solid Ground's Got Talent

Do you possess a "special" talent? Do you have an entertaining act that could bring smiles to faces, laughter, astonishment and applause? You will be pleased to know that Solid Ground Church is hosting, as part of a year-end family celebration, "Solid Ground's Got Talent".
So dust off your unicycle, polish up your baton, comb the wig, warm the voices and limber your muscles up as you prepare to enter either yourself (in a individual item) or a group (for a group item) in Solid Ground's Got Talent.
If you possibly feel intimidated by judging à la Simon Cowell or Randall Abrams then fear not, for there will be no vicious comments coming from the judging panels, nor will there be the ever-feared 'get off the stage' buzzer. This is going to be a time of thigh-slapping laughter and great family fun.
Would you like to participate but have no clue as to what your performance will be? Well here are a few things that might be able to help you decide, or give you some sort of idea of what you could present:
Singing (Acapella, karaoke or mimed), dance (hip-hop, ballet, modern, group, solo, traditional), acting (theatrical, comedy, slapstick, impersonation etc), Special acts (a well trained dog item, changing a baby's nappy, riding a bicycle with no seat, WHATEVER!), playing a musical instrument, solving Rubrik's Cube in record time, acrobatics, gymnastics, drum majorettes, stand-up comedy, glass harmonica (playing glasses full of water)...the sky is the limit!
So, bring your family and friends, prepare something special, and please let the organisers (Gerhard & Helet) know about what you plan to present before the 7th of November in order that we structure and plan the event in such way that the evening will flow nicely for your entertainment.
Solid Ground Church looks forward to welcoming one and all for this wonderful family event! Entrance is free, but you must bring friends, something to dip into the chocolate fountain (marshmellows, fruit kebabs etc) and most importantly, your sense of humour!
