Middelburg is in fighting back against the vicious tide of drug use and abuse! Solid Ground church 's The Tribe is joining in the fight by presenting a no-holds barred series called the Naked Truth about love, sex, relationships, drugs and addiction.
The weekly paper is full of reports of young people making the wrong choices - be it surrounding relationships or substance abuse. Middelburg's community is, as the newspaper puts it, "gatvol" for the toll that it is taking on the lives of our younger generation.
The Tribe has put together a series called "The Naked Truth", aimed at the young adults and high school students of Middelburg. The series aims to takle the hairy subjects of love, sex, relationships, drugs and addiction in a very matter-of-fact manner to firstly help steer the youth away from making potentially harmful decision in life, and secondly to help counsel those who have been directly involved in harmful relationships and drug use/abuse.
This is an invitation to young adults and parents alike: If your child is struggling through any one or more of these issues, then be sure to get your child into this series. Its going to be hard, but its going to be worth the struggle.
The Tribe believes that Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer to the struggles that we all face!
The Tribe Meets every Friday night from 19:00 - 21:00 and caters for students ages 13 - 18 years of age.
