Small Groups
Do you want to become more involved in the church, make friends, take hold of vision and build God's Kingdom? At Solid Ground church, we believe that being a member of a home group is an integral part of this; Solid Ground members are home group members. Take the liberty to visit any number of the various home groups, and when you find one that you 'gel' with, you will have found a place of safety, relationship and vibrant participation.
What does a home group do?
A home group essentially gets together on a regular basis (usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening) to fellowship with one another. This is usually accompanied by sharing a meal together, grabbing coffee, focussed (yet informal) chatting or catching-up with, and even making friends in the home group, mutual encouragement, and bringing the word of God into application in our lives. Our get-togethers are not necessarily bound to a particular venue or home - a home group may decide to gather in a restaurant to share a meal, for instance.
Home group get-togethers are not bound by language preferences or cultural groups. You are free to join any home group that you feel most comfortable with. As we view all Solid Ground meetings with equal importance, we encourage that all members of Solid Ground be actively involved within a home group of their choice.
